Message from the Editor...

I am deeply honored to assume the role of Editor-in-Chief for the Southern Journal of Policy and Justice. Our theme for Volume XIX, "Roots of Resilience: Environmental Justice and the Black Community," reflects our commitment to exploring critical issues at the intersection of environmental justice and the lived experiences of Black communities.

This volume will address topics such as environmental racism, community advocacy, and the legal frameworks that can drive equity and sustainability. Through these discussions, we aim to celebrate the resilience and strength of Black communities in the face of environmental challenges.

We invite you to stay engaged with our forthcoming articles and participate in our Symposium, where we will collectively envision a just and sustainable future.

Warm regards,
